Our Core Programs
Initiative #1 - Study Center
Providing consistent educational support and nourishment to underprivileged children.

Daily evening tuition classes led by experienced teachers

Nutritious dinner served every evening

Weekend heritage classes in association with Chinmaya Mission

Summer Camps featuring culture, life skills (embroidery, tailoring, crafts)

Milestones
-
2018: Began with 20+ students on a house terrace in Shenoy Nagar, Chennai
-
2019 - 2021: Moved to temple premises; 50+ students, equipped with tables and chairs. Spread to multiple schools to propagate our culture and traditions.

2021–Present: Operating full-fledged centers with 4 teachers and meal programs with 75+ students.

2023: Additional center in Thiruverkadu reached 20+ children (currently not operational)

2025 - Present: Support for Sree Gurukulam
-
Sree Gurukulam, led by Vinodji and his wife—both with 10+ years of CBSE teaching experience—has been established to serve children across 10+ rural villages near Chenglepet, Chennai.

They have voluntarily relocated to this rural region to build an authentic Gurukulam-based learning environment.

Three programs inspired by traditional Gurukulam methods have already begun:

Sishu Vatika – Daily Gurukul for young children (15 students).

Weekend Gurukul – Skill-based learning in pottery, silambam, farming, and more (20 children weekly).

Village Study Center – First center launched in Oct 2025, with plans to expand to four additional villages.

Jnanagni Trust sees immense potential for Sree Gurukulam to grow into a model Gurukulam for Tamil Nadu, integrating cultural values with strong educational foundations.

Initiative #2 - Vizhudhugal Vergalai Nokki
"Towards Strong Roots": Immersive program designed to reconnect children with India’s spiritual and cultural legacy.
